You can delete your Fluve account and its data at any time. Deletion takes effect 30 days after you ask, and you can change your mind until then.
1. How to delete your account
- On the web: sign in, go to Settings → Security, choose Delete account and confirm. Already signed in? Go straight to Settings → Security.
- In the Fluve app (iPhone or Android): open the menu, go to Settings → Security, tap Delete account and confirm.
- Can't sign in? Email support@fluve.app from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number you sign in with. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account for you.
Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play aren't cancelled when your account is deleted. Cancel them in your Apple or Google account settings first. If you're the only owner of a business workspace, add another owner first: the deletion waits until the business has one.
2. When it happens
Your account is deleted 30 days after you ask. Until then you can keep using Fluve, and you can cancel the deletion at any time from Settings → Security. After 30 days it's permanent and can't be undone.
3. What we delete
- Your account and sign-in details: your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo, sign-in sessions and connected apps.
- Your tasks and everything on them, including their descriptions, due dates and images, and tasks you assigned to other people.
- Images you added to other people's tasks. They see a "Deleted" placeholder where the image was.
- Your friends and friend requests, invitations you sent or received, and the names, email addresses and phone numbers you entered for people who don't use Fluve.
- Your notifications (and other people's notifications about things you did), notification settings, push notification tokens, API keys, two-factor recovery codes, your records of accepting our terms, your account's activity history, and your subscription records.
4. What we keep
- A placeholder named "Deleted user" with no personal information, so other people's tasks still make sense. A task someone else assigned to you goes back to them if it was still open; if you had completed it, it shows as completed by "Deleted user".
- Activity records in workspaces that belong to other people or businesses, with your name replaced by "Deleted user". They're that workspace's records, deleted after its retention period (one year unless the workspace sets otherwise). Files you added to a business workspace stay with that business.
- Phone numbers that opted out of our texts by replying STOP, so we never text them again. They're no longer linked to you.
- A record that your account was deleted, with the date and how many items were removed and no content, kept for one year.
- Our database backups, which are kept for 7 days. Deleted data is gone from them within 7 days of the deletion.
The App Store and Google Play keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies. Messages you sent to our support team aren't deleted automatically; ask us at support@fluve.app and we'll delete them. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports aren't linked to your account.
